Satoru was raised in a housing project. By the age of ten, he decides to stay there for the rest of his life. And this is not just some silly idea of a kid, Satoru really means it. A charming comedy on the surface, this movie will surprise the audience with deeper meaning not immediately apparent at the beginning.
DIRECTOR BIO
Born in 1970, Yoshihiro NAKAMURA first became known as a short film director before producing his debut feature film LOCAL NEWS in 1999. Since then he has continually been working as a director, winning the Audience Award at the New York Asian Film Festival in 2010 for his film A BOY AND HIS SAMURAI.
