Accompanying our programme section on butoh short films, we will offer a butoh performance and a dance workshop this year. Butoh is a contemporary style of Japanese dance, associated with darkness, rebellion and metamorphosis. Butoh dancer Yoshihiro SHIMOMURA and musician Takuya KURIHARA will bring this expressive dance on stage. In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn some basics of butoh. Please bring comfortable clothes.
