Inspired by the arrest of a former leading member of the Aum Shinrikyo sect in 2011, KIMURA portraits the apparently ordinary life of a couple sharing a small apartment – as it turns out, that life was anything but ordinary, but it still seems to have been centered not only around a dark secret from their past, but also around the question that can apply to any couple: "Where does love go?"
