In high school, society's microcosm, everything revolves around Kirishima. He is the star that everybody looks up to; he is loved by the girls and adored by the boys. When he does not show up one day, rumours surface that he might be quitting the volleyball team. His absence causes the mood amongst pupils to change, leading to an unexpected outcome.

DIRECTOR BIO
Daihachi YOSHIDA was born in 1963. After graduating from Waseda University, he directed commercials and won numerous awards. In 2007, he directed his first feature film FUNUKE SHOW SOME LOVE, YOU LOSERS! which was officially invited to the 60th Cannes International Film Festival.
